Special themes vary from month to month and include such topics as colors, homes, transportation, animals and health.

Shepherd of the Hills Preschool generally follows the Monroe School District calendar, running from September to the beginning of June. Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open.

Enrichment Day

Enrichment Day will be filled with your child’s favorite stories or nursery rhymes like If You Take a Mouse to School, The Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Three Little Pigs. By working in small groups and having hands-on activities, your child will gain a deeper understanding of concepts introduced during their preschool year. Pre-literacy skills are an important part of our preschool experience. Enrollment for Enrichment Day is offered on a month-to-month basis.

Spanish Class

This is an introduction to Spanish.  The children will learn colors, numbers, greeting, simple phrase, common foods, and much more.  A hands-on activity will reinforce the topic/words of the day.  Spanish Class is held on Friday mornings from October-May.
